To achieve a healthy balance in the yoga practice it is important to include three aspects: a focussed, open mind with a degree of strenght and flexibility in the body. When the mind is focused on the somatic sensations and the body feels that, body and mind fine-tune each other and the practice reveals itself.
Strength without flexibility tends towards stiffness or rigidity. Flexibility without supporting strength tends towards weakness and a lack of vitality. And a focussed mind is what makes the practice yoga.
We will work on the foundations of armbalancings from Vijnana yoga and we will offer progressions depending on the level of each person. Having a strong and stable upper body can prevent you from many injuries specially from overuse.
We will offer you a program you can follow at least for a month at home, in case you want to see improvements and overcome certain barriers. Consistency is the key. You just have to invest daily few minutes of your time to the practice. Looking forward to hear about your improvements!!
