You are pregnant and you want to continue doing yoga, or you want to give extra attention to your body to stay fit and strong during the pregnancy. Then the lessons at Samana are for you. You can start pregnancy yoga from 10 weeks.
Sanne Kerkhof has years of experience as a teacher and helps you to prevent and remedy pregnancy complaints and to regain strength after giving birth. Each lesson contains a number of basic parts such as strength, posture and breathing that always come back in different ways.
We do exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor, open the hips, standing postures and breathing exercises.
Sanne explains about the anatomy: the functioning of the pelvis and the diaphragm and how breathing works.
From the beginning of pregnancy, the body changes. It is good to immediately adjust your yoga practice.
In addition, you can get exercises during pregnancy yoga against complaints such as nausea.

The purpose of pregnancy yoga is not only to guide you during pregnancy, physically and mentally, but also to prepare you for childbirth and motherhood. Allow yourself to pay attention to your body and the changes that take place in it.
Your partner is also closely involved in your pregnancy and the birth process. The partner lesson is an active, informative lesson with explanations about the phases of childbirth, anatomy, the active role of your partner, delivery positions and the conditions for an optimal delivery.
