Brain Hacking®
Join neuroscientist & yoga teacher Gabriel Axel, founder of the Neural Active® methodology and lead innovator in the fusion of the neurological and yogic sciences, for this special 4-hour workshop.
BrainHacking® employs a practical set of tools to skillfully empower practitioners to feel their nervous system by infusing the perennial wisdom of yoga with valuable insights from brain science. Students will learn how certain brain functions can be hacked to generate increased bio-energy, expanded states of awareness, and purification of the nervous system.
Topics covered include:
* How common capacities of the brain can be utilized for the purposes of transformation
* Cultivating a scientifically- and spiritually-informed transformational practice
* Activation of neural bio-energy (prana/chi) in breath and movement
* Modulation of attention and awareness
* Expansion of emotional states through specific meditations and visualizations
* Purification of consciousness through increased coherence of the nervous system
Workshop attendees will walk away with a flexible blueprint practice designed to function as a standalone practice or as a principle-based method applicable within an already existing personal practice. Outside practitioners and teachers of all levels are welcome to attend. Some prior experience with yoga and/or meditation practice/sadhana is helpful but not necessary. Just bring a healthy curiosity and an desire to dive into deeper knowledge of oneself.
