Weekend retreat flavour-
A Journey back to our earlier selves toward the Age of Innocence.
This spiritual backward step is one of blessed simplicity and nakedness.
To the question: How can we live in this world and yet be innocent?
I want to say: Let’s be vulnerable. Tremendously vulnerable, and let’s see what happens when life chooses through me while I sit, listen, breathe, feel, move, and see every moment without judgement.
In Eckart Tolle’s words, we were born in silence, and as we grew up we filled up with words. We lived in our hearts, and as time passed we moved into our heads. The journey to enlightenment is the reverse. It is the journey from the head back to the heart, from words back to silence; getting back to our innocence in spite of our intelligence.
