Sanne Kerkhof is our specialized yoga teacher for pregnancy and postnatal recovery. Her classes are warm, concrete, and deeply supportive — helping women prepare for birth with confidence and calm.
Course Overview
This 8-class series is designed to accompany you through every stage of pregnancy. You’ll learn to stay strong, flexible, and balanced while connecting with your baby and your inner wisdom.
Class 1 – Grounding and Breath Awareness
Learn how to find stability and grounding through your feet and pelvis. Discover the power of conscious breathing to calm your mind and connect with your baby.
Class 2 – Strengthening the Lower Back and Pelvis
Focus on strengthening the core and pelvic floor, keeping the structure compact and supported while remaining flexible.
Class 3 – Opening and Flow
Gentle hip openers and flowing sequences to create space and flexibility — physically and emotionally — as your body changes.
Class 4 – Finding Balance
Practice mindful postures in standing, sitting, and lying down to develop physical stability and inner balance.
Class 5 – Connection and Relaxation
Deep relaxation and awareness exercises to connect with your baby. Learn how calm breathing benefits both you and your child.
Class 6 – Breath as a Tool for Birth
Explore breathing techniques (pranayama) to support you during labor, helping to release tension and guide energy.
Class 7 – Strength and Softness
Combine grounding asanas with gentle stretches to maintain strength, lightness, and a flexible posture.
Class 8 – Preparing for Birth
Integrate all techniques — breathing, movement, awareness — and reflect on your journey into motherhood.
Postnatal Yoga & Baby Massage
After birth, Sanne offers a special class for new moms: gentle postnatal yoga combined with baby massage. You’ll restore strength and energy while nurturing the bond with your baby.
Partner Class — (Friday Evenings)
Sanne leads a Partner Class: an active and informative session for couples to prepare together for childbirth.
Learn about the stages of labor, supportive breathing, birthing positions, and how partners can offer physical and emotional support during delivery. A beautiful way to strengthen connection and confidence before birth.
